Day 3

PICTURE: The greatest hat I've ever owned in my 30 years of life! I took like 8 pics today at school. I ran home, changed clothes, grabbed the greatest hat I've ever owned in my 30 years of life, and stopped. I had to take a picture and show you my hat. I got this hat the summer before my freshman year of highschool....yes, the hat is 16+ years old. I have had this hat for over half of my life. I love it, sweat stains and all!!!!




READING: Genesis 9-12. I have 2 things to share today because I couldn't choose between them. Genesis 9:14-15 "Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind." How cool is that?! Every time there is a rainbow, EVERY TIME, God remembers the covenant he made with Noah after the flood. Here we are, thousands of years later, and we get to see the reminder of that same covenant....WOW!

Genesis 12:1-3 talks about God's call to Abram. Abram hears God, gets up, and goes! I can't help but wonder if Abram ever even slightly questioned God, but verse 4 leads me to believe he didn't..."So Abram left, just as the LORD had told him." I cannot lie, whenever I hear God calling me I tend to ask several times for clarification, just to be sure God was really talking to me. Oh to be like Abram and just go, without hesitation.
